English:  The Cahuita National Park has one entrance (connected to the Cahuita village) which has an entrance fee by donation. Your name will be registred at the entrance.  The other entrances have a mandatory fee of approximately 10 USD. You can take a bus from Puerto Viejo to Cahuita village. Buses run hourly but are very cheap. This was the only National Park in Costa Rica which had no mandatory entrance fee and the wildlife is absolutely stunning. I saw a baby sloth, snake, squirrel, spiders and monkeys. I will upload pictures of the animals in a separate blog. The park rangers are very friendly and help you to spot the animals if you ask them to.

Deutsch: Der Cahuita National Park hat ein Eingang (in der Nähe des Dorfes Cahuita) ohne Eintrittsgebühren, man wird jediglich registriert und gefragt ob man freiwillig eine Spende hinterlegen möchte. Die anderen Eingänge haben eine Eintrittsgebühr von rund 10 USD. Sie können in Puerto Viejo einen Bus nehmen. Die Buse fahren stündlich und sind sehr günstig. Dies war der einzige National Park in Costa Rica ohne obligatorische Eintrittsgebühr und es war einer der Besten, die Natur ist beindruckend. Ich habe ein junges Faultier, mehrere Schlangen, Eichhörnchen, Spinnen und Affen gesehen. Bilder zu der Tierwelt von Costa Rica folgen in einem separaten Blog. Die Parkwächter sind sehr freundlich und helfen auf Anfrage gerne einige Tiere zu suchen.
